What This Machine Does
The third format tier of the blister line.
The JCP270 completes the JCP blister family: the same forming-feeding-sealing-blanking architecture as its siblings, built as the tier above the JCP180, with molds cut to your product rather than a standard board library.
The trade-off: bigger boards versus more machines. One large-format blister line replaces several small ones — until a mold change or a maintenance day takes the whole capacity with it. Some plants prefer two JCP180s over one bigger tier for exactly that reason; volume plants prefer the single line. Both are defensible; the samples decide.
Best-Fit Products
Runs these well — and what each one needs
- Pharma formats beyond the JCP180’s plate → boards sized to the product, not the other way round
- Large medical-device and electronics blisters → deep pockets, custom perimeters
- Liquid and paste portions → the JCP family’s sealed-cavity range
- Candy and food boards → printed foil, food-grade tooling

Configurations & Options
Everything follows the product drawing
- Molds: custom-shaped, designed item by item
- Formats: aluminum-plastic and aluminum-aluminum families
- Board: size and cavitation engineered to order
- Family: shares the JCP line’s station architecture and control philosophy
Is this the right machine for you?
Four honest questions before you buy
- Does the board genuinely outgrow the JCP180’s plate? If not, the smaller tier ships faster and runs proven tooling.
- Is your cavitation plan stable? Custom boards reward stable products.
- Do you need alu-alu barrier or is alu-plastic the honest spec?
- Have you sent samples? On this tier everything — board, mold, schedule — follows them.
FAQ
The things buyers actually ask.
What size boards does it form?
Board and cavitation are engineered to your product — there is no standard library on this tier. Send the drawing; the board follows.
JCP180 or JCP270?
The JCP180’s envelope is published: 170 × 120 mm plates, 40,000-80,000 tablets/hour. If your board fits that and the rate covers you, it is the honest buy. Beyond it, this tier.
Which materials?
The JCP family’s aluminum-plastic and aluminum-aluminum ranges, tooled to match.
What do you need to quote it?
Product samples or drawings, target cavitation, and the weekly volume. Everything on this machine is built to that trio.
