What This Machine Does
Six lanes on the widest web of the plain-seal line.
The JC800 is the widest plain-seal tier of the JC four-side-seal line: two to six sealing lanes built to order on an 880 mm web, with an optional reclosable zipper, producing the same sealed sachets as the single-lane JC400 — several at a time, at the scale only the widest frame allows.
The trade-off: width versus honest utilization. The 880 mm web carries the most lanes and the most output per operator in the plain-seal line — and commits the machine to one product format per run, with the widest sealing surface to keep even. If six lanes would run full, the width earns itself; if lanes five and six would sit empty, the JC600 or JC700 is the cheaper truth.
Best-Fit Products
Runs these well — and what each one needs
- Contract patch and sachet manufacturing → one long run, every lane lit
- Diagnostic and test-strip volume → thousands of identical small sachets per shift
- Laundry sheets and commodity flat consumables → counts that justify six lanes
- Cosmetic and skincare flat packs → rounded-corner sachets, optional zipper on multi-use formats

Four honest questions before you buy
- Would all six lanes run full — or is four (the JC600) or five (the JC700) the honest number for two more years?
- Does one format dominate the schedule? Lanes mean one product, run wide — that is the whole deal.
- Does the product need reclosability as the pack’s core claim? That is the JC800Z conversation: a dedicated two-lane zipper build with rotary gel feeding.
- Do your packs stay inside the family envelope — up to 280 mm long, 220 mm wide, 8 mm product height?
FAQ
The things buyers actually ask.
JC700 or JC800 — how do I pick?
By honest lane count. The chassis is the same family build; the JC800’s 880 mm web carries up to six lanes where the JC700 tops out at five. Price the web against the volume that actually ships.
Can I get a zipper on it?
As an option, on plain four-side-seal lanes. If reclosability is the product’s core claim, the JC800Z does it properly — double-side heated zipper on two dedicated lanes, with rotary magazine feeding.
Can lanes be added later?
Lane count is fixed at build — the web, sealing set and feeder are all sized together. Choose it at order time from real volume, not from a forecast slide.
What can all six lanes run?
The flat family the whole line seals: patches, strips, gauze, cards, thin consumables — anything the JC400 seals singly, this frame seals six wide.
