How to Choose a Snack Packing Machine
Seven decisions frame the specification. Work them in order and the machine ends up matched to your product — not the other way around.
1. Product Type
Chips, bars, crackers, nuts or mixed multipacks. Salty and dusty products raise one more demand — keep fines away from the seal zone so seals stay tight. Determines infeed method and film format.
2. Throughput

3. Film Material
OPP, PET, metallised laminates or cold-seal. Barrier needs decide the film; the film decides the sealing setup.

Can one machine run different snack SKUs?
Yes — that is what flow wrappers are built for. Format change between SKUs is a film-width and bag-length reset plus infeed adjustment; choose the machine class for the hardest SKU you run, not the easiest.
How do you multipack snacks?
Bundled multipacks gather several items into one flow-wrapped pillow pack — same route as singles, with a grouping infeed ahead of the wrapper.
What about single-serve portion packs?
