How to Choose a Coffee Packing Machine
Seven decisions frame the specification. Work them in order and the machine ends up matched to your product — not the other way around.
1. Product Type
Sachet format and dose weight. Geometry and film drive everything — and fine coffee grounds throw dust at speed, so spec dust extraction at the dosing point and positive-pressure protection at the seal zone before powder contaminates the seals.
2. Throughput
Dose lines live on high counts — servo class pays for itself in seal consistency.
3. Film Material
High-barrier multi-layer laminates are non-negotiable for locking in aroma; foil thickness dictates required sealing jaw temperatures and dwell times.
4. Seal Technology
Four seals per pack; consistency validated at full speed.
5. Package Format
Sachet size and count-based retail cartons downstream.
6. Hygiene and Food Contact

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you pack whole-bean or ground coffee bags?
Not on this route. Our coffee scope is single-serve sachets — sealed dose formats. Retail bags are a different packaging problem, and we will say so plainly if that is yours.
Why does sealing matter so much for coffee?
Aroma escapes and moisture enters through marginal seals. With high-count dose production, one soft sealing zone means thousands of stale doses — so sealing is validated at target speed.
Do you make stick packs?
No — stick packs run on dedicated vertical machinery, which is outside our horizontal line. Our coffee scope is the sealed sachet: one dose per pack, at high count. If your plan needs sticks, we will say so rather than stretch a horizontal wrapper to a job it was not built for.
What speeds are available for coffee packing?
Configurations for this format span our packaging machinery range — 5 to 300 packs/min. The right class depends on your product, film and format; match speed to what your line actually sustains, not the headline number.
